Antartica flights
There are several ways to go to Antartica of course. Basically there are three options; Argentina, South Africa and Australia. South Africa is not really an option as there are not a lot of operators to the South Pole.
Leaves us with Argentina and Australia. The southern city of Ushuaia is well know for it's expedetion ships, where you can experience a two-week trip for not less than 5000 USD.
Another option might be the cooperation between Qantas and Croydon Travel from Australia. They offer a 12 hour flight to the Magnetic South Pole with departures from Melbourne and Sydney. It takes you about 3 hours to get there, 4 hours of 'viewing' and 3-4 hours to get back home.
Prices start from 999 USD for economy up to 7299 USD for First Class seats. Currently they operate the 747-400 on this trip, but in the future the A380 will be planned.
